My favorite DJ and Producer is back again with another banging progressive house track. Hardwell debuted this song at his first weekend Ultra main stage set where he actually introduced Dyro on stage to the crowd. It was a sick experience. And after being on a Canadian tour with Dannic and Dyro, it’s only fit to release a track with him. This track is amazing simply put. The vocals that Bright Lights add to it make it such an incredible song. And with such an up and coming producer like Dyro, the two make a perfect match for this track. This defines a banger. W&W is one of the fastest growing EDM groups right now. With legends such as Armin van Buuren backing them up and supporting their music, W&W is on the rise. This new tune “Thunder”, goes so hard. The build up has a nice catchy melody and the drop is jaw dropping. It hits you hard and I can’t even imagine listening to it at a live show. Knife Party finally dropped their new 4 track EP entitled Haunted House this morning. They’ve been teasing us since Ultra and with some small clips released shortly after. Well now that it’s finally here the hype was well deserved, this EP definitely shows Knife Party going down a new and exciting road unique to themselves. Knife Party doesn’t disappoint with this genre changing EP, be sure to give it a listen and if you love it show them some support by buying it on Itunes.

The EP kicks off with “Power Glove”. The intro in Power Glove is intense; a powerful choir sample combined with a commanding drum pattern had me hitting repeat a few times before I finished the song. The main melody might be the catchiest Knife Party has made thus far. The only downside to Power Glove is the lack of variation in drops but the midsections help keep things interesting.

“LRAD” is hands down my favorite Knife Party song. The slow building intro adds intensity while the main melody slowly creeps in. When the buildup came to a halt I was expecting a typical Knife Party drop. Instead we get this heart pounding minimal drop that is infectious. The second drop adds some tribal vocal samples, which adds a completely different atmosphere to it then the first. This song has so much dynamic to it, one their best tracks yet.

“EDM Death Machine” has one of the most grin inducing intros ever. Poking fun at Skrillex, Baauer, Borgore, and themselves, then it transitions into a robot coming to live. Soon we are hit by a flurry of spastic lazers and crunchy bass. EDM Death Machine will no doubt be played throughout the festival circuit.

The EP closes with a VIP of their hit, Internet Friends. The only major change is the second drop is changed to Dubstep. It’s a fun VIP but it would have been nice to get a fourth original.

This is a solid EP, not their best, but a solid effort. LRAD is the standout track here! For those wondering why there is a lack of variation in genres: The EP is titled Haunted HOUSE, get it? It’s all Electro House bangers, minus the change in Internet Friends. But in the end this EP was enjoyable, can’t wait to see what’s next.

With summer just around the corner I thought I would share this summer mix that gets you in the mood to get outside and hang out. This is another good remix of Maroon 5′s anthem payphone, perfect for when the party starts to die down but you still want to hang out and theres drink left in that solo cup you are holding. Turn this on, bottoms up.

Joel Baker from London, England sent us this song a few days ago and I have had it on replay since downloading it. It’s one of the better chill songs I have heard in the past month. Great vocals from this British lad with a great guitar. Worth the download for sure and it will sound great while you are relaxing on the beach in June this summer.

Martin & Souza remixed this track and I am vibin’ real hard to this track. I have yet to hear a solid remix to this song until this song. A great chord progression from these two guys. A great track to pump the blood up before your big sporting events this spring. Lots of repeating of vocals which sounds a bit odd at first, but it comes together very well when the drop comes in. This to me somewhat has a Trap sound to it, yet still has a Progressive House drop and everything, weird but solid. Enjoy.

Madera is really on the moves as a remix/mashup artist right now, this guy knows what good music should sound like and he has yet to fail with one of his tracks. The Kings Dead released this song, which is the 2nd single off of their upcoming album Revenge Of The Beast. This song has it all, great lyrics and a great beat that will have you wishing the song went on longer. I have a strong connection with this duo, due to the fact that I have loved them since their beginning back when they called themselves The Dean’s List. When you feel like you have been through everything with an artist you feel like you made them into what they are today. I am so glad that these guys are making another run at it with this new album. I can’t wait to listen to their album, Revenge of the beast, which will drop Tuesday, May 28th. Do the right thing and buy this song off iTunes instead of downloading it with the free link I provided below, they deserve our money. I bought it surprisingly. I was thrown this song by my bro Will Pasik, so all the cred to him for this one. This track is a bit old but doesn’t mean it’s not gold.
